Shannen Fogarty-Nurse

Shannen joined the Columbia Gorge Veterinary clinic in 2008. She has over 26 years experience in veterinary nursing.

She enjoying breeding, training, and competing with her dogs and skiing and sailing, when she can get away from her small hobby farm. 


Michelle Peterson:

Michelle has been working in a veterinary practice since 2002. She hailed from North Carolina where she received a bachelor’s degree in science.  Michelle first became interested in the veterinary field after volunteering in a clinic and enjoying the passion between pets, their owners and their medical team. The gorge became home for her in 2009 and she plans on continuing to enjoy the great outdoors and wonderful people here with her two rescue dogs, Rio and A'mi.

Cassie Miller

Cassie has been in the animal industry for about 6 years, and her love for animal healthcare continues to grow. She taught English, and volunteered at animal shelters in Cambodia, Vietnam, and Thailand. She also had the opportunity to participate in the WWOOF Program working with farm animals in Norway and Sweden. After traveling for two years, she found herself exploring the beautiful Gorge. She craves the outdoors, enjoys knitting, reading, and dancing in the rain. She loves turtles because they remind her of baby dinosaurs. She's excited to be enrolled in the Veterinary Technician Program at Penn Foster College.

Lucie Chevrolet-Thompson

Lucie is our newest addition to the team. Lucie has a masters degree in marine biology. After traveling the world(Taiwan, South Africa, Australia, Mexico) lucie moved from France and settled in Hood River with her husband Jordan and their dog Maui. An enthusiasm for pets and veterinary medicine led Lucie to the practice in 2017. Lucie enjoys hiking and Nordic skiing in her free time.
