DR. DAVE STAUFFACHER
Dr. Dave Stauffacher graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary medicine in 1994 and moved to the Northwest shortly afterward.  After 9 years of practice at a busy multi-doctor hospital in Vancouver, Washington, he achieved his dream of living and working in The Columbia River Gorge.  He purchased the CGVC in 2004. 

Dr. Dave has special interests in small animal surgery as well as exotic animal medicine.
In his free time Dr Dave enjoys kiteboarding, windsurfing, snowboarding and mountain biking.  Dr Dave and his wife Dr Kerry Lee own three cats and two spoiled Labrador retrievers.

SHANNEN FOGARTY  
Veterinary Technician
Shannen is an experienced dog trainer and handler and has over 15 years of experience in the veterinary field.  Shannen’s knowledge and experience allows us to provide the best care possible for your pets.

Tammy Ambers 
Veterinary Assistant
Tammy has been a proud member of the Columbia Gorge Veterinary Staff since 2002. She was born and raised in Hood River and has a strong link to this area. She has always loved animals and now is happy to be able to share this with our patients and clients. Outside of work she is a wife and mother of 2 boys. Her furry family consists of 2 dogs and 2 cats. She enjoys spending time with family and friends doing activities such as camping, hiking and fishing.

Laura Bassler
Veterinary Assistant
Laura has been with Columbia Gorge Veterinary Clinic for two years as a Veterinary Assistant. She has a great love for all animals and really enjoys getting to know each patient and their families. In her time off she enjoys snowboarding and hiking the gorge with her husband and two dogs, Monty and Lucy.
 
 
 
DR. KERRY LEE
Dr. Kerry Lee graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She received the Lu Vogel Scholarship, awarded to doctors who show exemplary compassion toward patients. Through the last several years she has developed a special passion for geriatric patient care and medicine.
Dr. Lee also has a strong interest in client education and preventative medicine. She has taught client education seminars on Puppy Behavior and Pet First Aid.

Dr. Lee is excited about joining her husband, Dr. Dave, at The Columbia Gorge Veterinary Clinic this year. After working at a clinic in Gresham for the last three years, she is looking forward to returing home and working in The Gorge. 

Her interests outside of Veterinary Medicine include mountain biking, snowboarding, ultimate frisbee, and running with her two Labrador Retrievers Kylee and Palouse.
